Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Phoenix is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will educate patients, maintain documentation, and operate imaging equipment according to policy.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Medicine and/or NMTCB certification or state licensure, BLS, and typically 2 years of clinical experience in radiology/nuclear medicine settings.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• National certification from ARRT Nuclear Medicine and/or NMTCB or state licensure if applicable.
• Advanced certification by accrediting body in specialty within 18 months of hire if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• This position requires 2 years of clinical knowledge/experience.
• Must demonstrate effective communication, human relations, analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed nuclear medicine procedures per orders and policies.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and safety.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation.
• Ensures safe handling, storage and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals under ALARA principles.
