Banner Health’s Tucson campus seeks an Acute Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging, safely administer radiopharmaceuticals, and guide patients through exams with care and confidence.

You will work with a supportive clinical team, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards while contributing to outstanding patient care every day. The role requires certification and adherence to ALARA practices.

Qualifications

• Requires certificate or diploma in Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• National certification by ARRT NM Board and/or NMTCB or equivalent; state licensure if applicable.
• Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty within 18 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures following orders and policies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Produce high quality images and maintain documentation.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals with adherence to safety policies.
• Perform equipment quality control and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain safe environment and ALARA compliance while handling radioactive materials.
