Banner Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Banner Staffing Services in Mesa, AZ. You will perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures, adhere to department protocols, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver optimal patient care.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or NMTCB, a radiology technology certificate/diploma, and 2 years of clinical experience. BLS is required; Banner Health offers a supportive work environment and competitive wages.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Must hold national certification from ARRT Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB, or equivalent; state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures following orders and policy.
Educate patients and families about procedures and expected outcomes.
Produce high-quality images and ensure proper documentation for interpretation.
Maintain safety and ALARA principles in handling radiopharmaceuticals and equipment.
Ensure workflow efficiency and proper inventory to avoid service disruption.
