Job summary

A regional healthcare network is seeking a dedicated individual to perform cardiac monitoring for patients under the direction of healthcare professionals. This role requires successful completion of an EKG interpretation course and Basic Life Support certification. Candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as basic computer knowledge. Working primarily at the Downey location, candidates will contribute to maintaining patient care flow and quality service during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or Certificate.
• Typing and computer skills.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician.
• Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.
