Job summary

Asante in Medford, OR seeks a Cardiac Monitor Tech for 0.9 FTE on the 3rd shift – nights. The role blends clerical tasks, order transcription, and supplies coordination with patient monitor responsibilities.

You will document and interpret EKG rhythms, report abnormalities, and maintain clear communications with staff under supervision. Requires a High School diploma and completion of Asante's Basic Cardiac Rhythms course; prior clerical/healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required.
• Successful Completion of Asante's Basic Cardiac Rhythms course is required.
• Clerical, reception, or other healthcare-related experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Cardiac Monitor Tech performs unit clerical duties, transcription of orders, and communication of information and requisition of supplies and equipment.
• Monitors, documents and interprets EKG rhythms and/or hemodynamic lines for assigned patients under supervision.
• Documents and reports EKG abnormalities, changes, or concerns to the appropriate staff.
