Job summary

Asante in Medford, OR is seeking a Cardiac Monitor Tech on a 0.3 FTE basis, on-call, 1st shift days. The role includes clerical duties, transcription of orders, and monitoring EKG rhythms for assigned patients under clinical staff direction.

You will document and report EKG abnormalities, manage supplies, and maintain communication with nurses and physicians. Required high school or GED and completion of Asante's Basic Cardiac Rhythms course; hospital experience preferred; must pass the Basic

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of Asante's Basic Cardiac Rhythms course is required.
• Clerical, reception, or healthcare-related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit clerical duties, transcription of orders, and requisition of supplies and equipment.
• Monitor, document, and interpret EKG rhythms and hemodynamic lines for assigned patients under supervision.
• Document and report EKG abnormalities, changes, or concerns to the appropriate staff.
