AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families on treatments and self-care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team, accurate documentation, and ongoing quality improvement while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN license and registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional licensure/certifications may apply depending on unit/state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; revise as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
