Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg Cardiac unit during night shifts. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families, while adhering to nursing standards and hospital values.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• RN license active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, report changes.
• Administer medications, document care, monitor therapeutic responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan and follow-up.
