Job summary

MUSC Health seeks a Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Coordinator to oversee specialized care for advanced heart failure patients eligible for MCS therapy. The role combines clinical coordination with departmental administration within a hybrid schedule.

You will coordinate postoperative and outpatient MCS care, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensure evidence-based practice while providing leadership coverage around the clock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• RN license by SC Board or a compact state.
• ANA generalist certification may be required for some positions.
• AHA BLS/Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive, specialized care for advanced heart failure patients eligible for MCS therapy.
• Manage postoperative and outpatient care for patients with mechanical circulatory support.
• Provide 24/7 leadership presence and support to staff and patients.
