Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for the Night shift (7pm-7am) in Clermont, FL. You will provide essential patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist with daily activities, and help ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with nursing staff to maintain privacy and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patient with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutritional needs.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintains safety and security of patients, families, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Receives and processes incoming phone calls, patient call lights and guest requests.
• Transports and delivers items, equipment, blood products, and medications throughout the facility.
• Participates in handoff report and purposeful hourly rounding of patients.
