Job summary

ProMedica’s Toledo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in the Acute G5 unit. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, assesses needs, communicates with families and the health care team, and evaluates care outcomes to improve patient health and satisfaction.

Current state RN license and CPR training are required. Ohio-specific CEU requirements apply, with specialty certifications as unit needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR training
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
• Ohio nursing licensure requires 24 contact hours of continuing education during licensure period, with at least 1 hour on Ohio nurse practice code and rules

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient plan of care and communicate with patient, families and health care team
• Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses; plan, implement and evaluate care
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals
• Contribute to improving patient care, work environment, and staff satisfaction
