Job summary

CaroMont Health is seeking a CIED Specialist to manage cardiac implantable electronic devices, performing evaluation, programming, and troubleshooting in office, hospital, and remote monitoring settings.

The role involves responding to patient clinical concerns, participating in quality improvement activities, and using PaceArt and related software for reporting and data management. Training and supervision are provided within department standards of care.

Qualifications

• Evaluating, programming and troubleshooting CIEDs in clinic and hospital settings.
• Direct patient clinical concerns to appropriate personnel or department.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities.
• Operate devices and office equipment (CIED programmers, computer, telephone, copier, fax).
• Utilize PaceArt and other software platforms for report preparation and data management.
• Assist with maintaining PaceArt system or other databases/software used by the device clinic.

Job Summary: Manage CIED's by performing the following duties: evaluation, programming, and trouble-shooting of CIEDs, both in office and hospital as well as via remote monitoring. The Specialistwill evaluate CIED's in the office and direct patient clinical concerns to appropriate personnel or department, participate in departmental quality improvement activities, operate various types of equipment including CIED programmers, computer, telephone, copier and fax machine, perform duties as directed by providers and under supervision of practice administrator within departmental standards of care. Specialist will utilize PaceArt and other software platforms as well as websites forreport preparation anddata management as determined by the department clinical director. Specialist will assist with maintaining PaceArt system or other database/software programs utilized by the device clinic.
