Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain BLS Provider within 1 month of hire.
• Cardiac/Medical/vascular ARDMS or CCI credentialing preferred before hire.
• Equivalency pathway via HS diploma with experience or an appropriate technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment and maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists in imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Submits high-quality images and patient data to PACS with correct lead markers.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized department.
