2200 Elmhurst Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for Cardiac Imaging on a part-time basis. The role supports stress testing, patient assessment, and care planning within a patient-centered team.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree (BLS/ACLS), with Cardiac Imaging experience and strong critical thinking. Expect on-call duties and weekend coverage, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in Cardiac Imaging.
• Solid critical thinking and patient assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing as part of cardiac imaging.
• Assess patients and collect health data from patient, family, and providers.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans; document progress.
• Assist staff with contrast administration, venipuncture, meds, oxygen, and IV care.
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs.
• Engage in quality improvement and stay current with research in cardiac testing.
• Support peers and learners with evidence-based care and education.
• Comply with HIPAA and assist with patient transport when needed.
