Job summary

Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott Valley seeks a Cardiac Diagnostics Lead Nurse to drive excellence in cardiovascular imaging and patient care. You will blend your RN expertise with leadership to plan and orchestrate the daily clinical nursing operations of our Cardiovascular Imaging Services.

You will manage the daily RN schedule for inpatient and outpatient services, coordinate on‑call coverage, and ensure staffing adequacy.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general registered nursing experience.
• Working knowledge of all department medical equipment.
• Registered Nurse: AZ.
• Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates the daily RN schedule for both inpatient and outpatient Cardiovascular Imaging Departments (Cardiac Diagnostics) services to patients.
• Plans and coordinates daily work schedules and on-call RN coverage.
• Responsible for maintaining RN work schedules and assuring that staffing is adequate for the workload.
• Conducts orientation and training for new RN staff members.
• Conducts continuing RN education and training.
• Provides input to the Cardiovascular Imaging Operations Manager and supports the implementation of identified opportunities for process improvements as well as on-going staff training and development.
