Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU. This part-time position covers nights from 7pm to 7am, with weekend-only WOW shifts and premium pay. Eligible for sign-on bonus; experienced external applicants welcome.

The CVU cares for open-heart surgery patients and other critical cardiac conditions; the nurse will provide direct patient care from admission to discharge and collaborate with the on-shift team to meet patient and family needs.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required, within 10 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
