Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU WOW+1 program. This full-time role covers days (7am-7pm) on a 36-hour weekly schedule with weekend WOW shifts plus one weekday.

The CVU cares for open-heart surgery patients and complex cardiology cases; nurses provide direct patient care from admission to discharge and collaborate with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required, within 10 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet patient, family, and co-worker needs.
• Collaborate with the Cardiovascular ICU team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.
