Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd’s Cardiovascular ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse for Weekend Only Nights (WOW), part-time 24 hours weekly, 7pm-7am in New Albany, IN. This role focuses on caring for open-heart surgery patients within a modern CVICU and supports broader ICU needs.

Qualified candidates hold Indiana RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 10 weeks. Premium pay applies to WOW shifts. EOE.

Qualifications

• Indiana or Compact state RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Work on the weekend nights as part of the WOW program.
• Collaborate with CVICU team to deliver cardiac postoperative care.
• Support patients and families and coordinate with multidisciplinary staff.
