The Staff Pad, partnering with a leading health system in Wisconsin, seeks Registered Nurses for a newly expanded Cardiac Tower and PCU in Wausau. This full-time role offers exposure to high-acuity cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients in a modern cardiac care environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or compact-state eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• Interest in cardiac, high-acuity, or critical care nursing.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to complex cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor high-acuity patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Manage IV drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced telemetry.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Deliver patient-centered care focused on quality outcomes.
