Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse for Cardiac Surgery ICU on a Per Diem, on-site basis. The RN will plan and provide patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care and will demonstrate initiative, clinical skills, and effective patient management.

Applicants must have MA RN license, a BSN, and at least 3+ years of Cardiac Surgery ICU experience with VAD, IABP, Centri-Mag, or CRRT, and be able to assume charge roles as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of current Cardiac Surgery ICU experience with VAD, IABP, Centri-mag or CRRT.
• Massachusetts RN license required and BSN preferred.
• This role can accept experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care according to Nursing Standards of Care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for cardiac surgery ICU patients.
• Demonstrate initiative, clinical skills and ability to manage patients with complex needs.
