CHRISTUS Health is seeking a competent RN with CVICU experience for per diem shifts in a high-acuity cardiac setting. The nurse will work closely with cardiovascular surgeons and a specialized team to provide comprehensive cardiac care.

Education includes a BSN or equivalent, with an RN license in the state of employment. ACLS is required; BLS is also necessary. New graduates may be considered for the per diem role with orientation provided.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Critical Care setting preferred; new graduates considered.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Meets expectations of competencies and leads self/others/leaders as appropriate.
• Provides nursing care Utilising the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care given.
• Educates patients, families, and/or caregivers; identifies learning needs.
