Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to diagnose, intervene, and manage critically ill cardiac patients in the CICU. You will lead codes, manage arrhythmias, and perform invasive procedures in collaboration with intensivists and cardiologists.

ACLS and BLS are required, with NJ RN/APN or PA certifications. Per diem hourly rate is $95, and duties include daily rounds, transfers, and family communication.

Qualifications

• A valid NJ RN and APN license or PA license with NJ certification.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• CICU/Cardiac care experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage critically ill cardiac patients in the CICU.
• Perform/assist invasive procedures per credentialing policies.
• Lead codes and manage arrhythmias per ACLS/CALS guidance.
• Coordinate daily rounds with intensivists and CICU team.
• Facilitate transfers and consultations across services.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide holistic care.
