Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston, SC, seeks a Unit Secretary to provide clerical support on the nursing unit. Working PRN 3pm–11:30pm, you will help keep patient charts organized and assist staff with calls and messages.

You will use Microsoft Word/Excel and EPIC EHR tools, and must communicate calmly in high‑stress situations while delivering courteous patient service. Prior healthcare clerical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Prior healthcare clerical work preferred.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain patient charts.
