Hendricks Regional Health in Brownsburg, IN seeks an Exercise Physiologist to provide patient- and family-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary tests, record histories, and collaborate with RNs/RTs to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in health-related field; ACSM EP-C certification is preferred. ACLS/BLS knowledge is expected, with up to one year of cardiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health related field required; cardiology experience preferred.
• ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) or ASEP EPC licensure preferred.
• Area-specific education may be obtained upon hire (ACLS, BLS, etc.).
• Minimum cardiology-related experience preferred if degree is in a health field.

Responsabilités

• Perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostics (ECG, rhythm strip, heart monitor hookup, treadmill/nuclear stress tests, stress ECHO, and related studies) after training.
• Record short cardiopulmonary history by questioning patients relevant to testing.
• Maintain departmental statistics and productivity records.
• Be part of the cardiac fast teams for inpatient units.
• Apply professional judgment considering patient age, diagnosis and ability.
• Edit ECG and stress testing reports per policy.
• Interface with patients and physicians for receipt, review, scanning and reporting of event recorders.
• Promote patient safety and comply with Dept./Hospital/HR policies.
