Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Liberty, MO is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac EP Lab. The PRN RN will monitor patients during electrophysiology procedures, assist electrophysiologists, and provide sedation and nursing care in a fast-paced cardiac lab environment.

Required ADN with progression to BSN and 2+ years ICU or cath lab experience; ACLS/BLS; state RN licensure in KS or MO.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU or cath/EP labs preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced perioperative settings.
• Basic nursing competencies and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Administers IV and oral medications as ordered.
• Monitors vital signs during electrophysiology studies.
• Circulates and assists electrophysiologist during procedures.
• Operates monitoring and data collection equipment as required.
• Provides patient care planning and post-procedure support.
