Job summary

Summa Health seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. The incoming physician will join a team of EP physicians and APs delivering patient-centered cardiovascular care within an integrated health system.

The practice features high-volume ablations, device implants, and a busy EP service with fellows and a strong referral network. Employed position with comprehensive benefits and salary guarantee, with potential faculty appointment at NEOMED.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Experience with lead extractions preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume complex ablations and CRM device implants.
• Lead or participate in EP consults and inpatient coverage with fellows and staff.
• Collaborate across a large Heart & Vascular Institute to deliver innovative electrophysiology care.
