Labela is seeking U.S.-based Cardiac Electrophysiologists to engage in high-level clinical consulting across career stages, from fellows to attendings. This 100% remote role focuses on validating and auditing AI-driven clinical reasoning in electrophysiology, helping ensure accuracy and safety at scale.

As a subject matter expert, you will review complex EP cases, provide concise, expert feedback, and advise on AI-enabled decision support tools.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM) or EP training (PGY-2+).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training in the field.
• Based in the United States with ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic strategies to ensure ACC/AHA/HRS alignment.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level validation for intricate EP case presentations.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations impacting patient safety.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on AI-driven clinical decision support tools for EP care.

You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with ACC/AHA/HRS standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate cardiac electrophysiology case presentations, intracardiac electrogram and 12-lead ECG interpretation.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for cardiac electrophysiology care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Position Details

• Environment: 100% Remote
• Commitment: Flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around a clinical or training schedule. This engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026.
