Qualifications

• RDCS (ARDMS) OR RCS (CCI) certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent.
• BLS certification required and valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders; educates patient about procedures.
• Independently performs echocardiography procedures and selects transducers.
• Selects exposure factors; administers contrast and medications within scope.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
• Must think critically and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
