Job summary

The incumbent will provide preliminary findings to clinicians, ensure safety and HIPAA compliance, and may supervise students. A sign-on bonus is available and fulltime hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited two-year Cardiac Ultrasound Program.
• ND: allied health certificate/diploma in imaging; on-the-job training may be considered with leadership approval.
• ND/SD/MN-specific credentialing timelines required (as applicable).
• Credentialing with ARRT/ARDMS/CCI or registry eligible within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography tests/procedures following ASE standards.
• Prepare patients for exams, position them, and operate ultrasound equipment to record images.
• Provide oral and/or written preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and HIPAA-compliant practices.
• Supervise or train students and cardiac sonographers as needed; support IAC accreditation when required.
