Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer license/registration required.
• Credentialed as Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS) by CCI or equivalent.
• Advanced level credential (ACS) by CCI or equivalent.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential from ARDMS.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Identifies presence/absence of disease through anatomy/physiology knowledge.
• Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography procedures including TEE, echo-guided procedures, and stress echocardiography.
