Job summary

CHS Career Site seeks a Registered Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time role in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Echo Technologist will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging for physician evaluation.

The role requires 1–3 years of echocardiography experience, RDMS certification (or CHEA-accredited program graduate) and BCLS within 7 days of employment. TEEs and stress imaging duties are included.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of echocardiography experience required.
• RDMS certification or graduate of CHEA-accredited program.
• BCLS certification within first 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images with post-exercise imaging within 60 seconds.
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Document preliminary reports and patient information in EMR.
