Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking a full-time Cardiac Ultrasound Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiography for adult patients. The role includes 2D imaging, Doppler techniques, transesophageal studies, and both exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS RDCS or RCS credentials and an associate degree in diagnostic ultrasound, with BLS certification required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• ARRDMS RDCS/RCS/Cardiac credentials required within specified timeframes.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations including 2D imaging, spectral and color Doppler, m-mode, transesophageal, exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms.
• Conduct saline and left ventricular opacification studies for adult patients.
• Mentor/preceptor for Ultrasonographers and/or students as needed.

Associate's degree or equivalent, Diagnostic Ultrasound Program

CRT-BLS (AHA) Upon Hire

CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS (Cardiac excluded) 1 year

CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS - ARDMS
