Job summary

Qualifications

• Program graduate of Accredited Sonography Program (Required) or Associates Degree (Preferred).
• 1 year Imaging Experience (Preferred).
• CPR/BLS Certification required upon hire.
• RDCS-AE or RCS or RDCS-Pediatric certification upon hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac sonography examinations and produces quality images following protocols.
• Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and positions the patient.
• Maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and RHS policies; reports variances.
• Provides effective and efficient assessment, actions, and documentation.
