Job summary

Corewell Health in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a part-time Cardiac Sonographer to perform a variety of echocardiography tests, including stress echocardiograms, TEE and TTE, and related advanced imaging. You will calculate data and prepare studies for staff interpretation.

The role requires an associate degree in ultrasound/echo, RDCS/RCS credentials, and BLS certification, with experience in Doppler, 2D imaging, and complex congenital heart disease understanding preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited ultrasound program with echo training.
• RDCS / RCS credentials as listed (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient chart and select the most appropriate procedural methodology.
• Perform ultrasound tests (TEE, TTE, Doppler, stress echo) and calculate data.
• Document exam performance in the EMR and hospital financial system.
• Inform patients and health-care team about procedures and equipment used; participate in QA and team meetings.
