Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist for per diem/day shift. The role involves performing cardiac ultrasound examinations, assisting with invasive echocardiography procedures, and adapting techniques to specific patient needs.

A strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential. Required credentials include Oregon Sonographer, NRC Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) or ACSN, ARDMS Cardiac Sonographer, and BLS from the American Heart

Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer upon hire.
• National Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) upon hire.
• National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) upon hire.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Assists physicians with invasive echocardiography exams as needed.
• Identifies presence or absence of disease using anatomy/physiology knowledge.
• Adapts procedures to meet special circumstances and provide useful information.

CAAHEP-accredited Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
