Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision. The role is ideal for new graduates or those with minimal experience, with a full-time schedule (36 hours) in Brighton, CO, and occasional coverage at other clinics.

Responsibilities include coordinating exams, ensuring patient safety, documenting results, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Echo/vascular sonography certification required or ARDMS/CCI equivalent.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols in a timely manner.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure safety and comfort during testing.
• Document exam results and ensure proper charging and record-keeping.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
