Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• 1) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare patients for exams, educate patient/family, and transport to the exam.
• Identify patient needs during exams and communicate with team.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies, and coordinate repairs.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in education.
