Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound exams in an outpatient cardiology setting in Englewood, FL. The role supports high-quality imaging, accurate measurements and close collaboration with cardiologists and clinical staff.

The position requires RDCS with RVT preferred (CCI acceptable) and BLS/CPR certifications, with a typical schedule Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• RDCS with RVT preferred; CCI also acceptable
• BLS and CPR certifications

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality echocardiograms with measurements and calculations as directed by the Medical Director
• Notifies physicians of abnormal findings and patient conditions
• Prepares studies for review, logs, archives, and enters charges into EMR
• Maintains and troubleshoots echocardiography equipment and performs routine maintenance
• Accounts for imaging, recording and processing of images
• Obtains complete patient history and informed consent per policy
• Maintains patient communication and acts as patient advocate
• Communicates effectively with radiologists regarding findings and test results
• Ensures accurate physician orders and verifies diagnoses for proper reimbursement
• Travels to alternate office locations as required
