Millennium Physician Group is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations in an outpatient cardiology setting. You will provide direct patient care, obtain accurate images and measurements, and collaborate with cardiologists and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.

Qualifications

• RDCS with RVT preferred.
• CCI also acceptable.
• BLS, CPR

Responsabilités

• Performs high-quality echocardiograms with measurements and calculations.
• Evaluates abnormal findings and notifies the physician of critical data.
• Reviews procedures with physicians and Medical Director as needed.
• Handles clerical duties: preparation, logging, archiving, entering charges in EMR.
• Troubleshoots equipment and performs routine maintenance on probes and machines.
• Willing to travel to alternate office locations to meet department needs.
• Maintains patient-focused care, communicates clearly with patients.
• Monitors equipment and work area for safety and compliance.
• Documents complete patient history and obtains informed consent.
• Interfaces with radiologists regarding findings and implications.
• Optimizes supplies and costs while maintaining quality of care.
