Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a skilled echocardiography professional to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures for diverse patient populations, excluding pediatrics. You will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality studies.

The role requires demonstrated competency in cardiovascular echocardiography and the ability to handle non-standard techniques when needed to improve diagnostic value. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in cardiovascular echocardiography.
• Must be able to recognize abnormal structure and correlate this information into a useful study.
• Must be able to deviate from normal techniques when necessary to develop new techniques.

Responsibilities

• To perform cardiac ultrasound procedures of a professional level on all patient populations served by South Shore Health System and Educational Corporation other than pediatric patients; responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patient.
