Job summary

Requirements include 1–3 years of echocardiography experience, RDMS certification, and BCLS within seven days of hire. RDCS/RCS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography required.
• RDMS certification required; RDCS/RCS preferred.
• BCLS certification within first 7 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies including 2‑D imaging, M‑mode, and Doppler per standards.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams.
• Obtains quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images within guidelines and timeframes.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) while maintaining patient safety.
• Documents preliminary reports and EMR entries accurately and confidentially.
