Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minneapolis is recruiting for an Echocardiography Technologist to support the cardiology team in assessing and treating cardiac diseases. Successful candidates will perform diagnostic ultrasound tests and assist with echocardiograms.

The role requires an accredited degree in echocardiography, relevant certification, and at least one year of experience. Benefits include extensive health packages, PTO plans, and additional educational reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program.
• Registered as a cardiac sonographer - RDCS or RCS.
• At least 1 year of previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the cardiologist in the assessment and treatment of cardiac diseases.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound testing including contrast-enhanced echocardiograms.
• Assist cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms.

Skills

Knowledge of aseptic technique

Knowledge of EKG rhythms

Ability to use Electronic Medical Records

IV insertion for ultrasound imaging

Education

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
