Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited echocardiography program.
• Registered as a cardiac sonographer or eligible.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound testing including m-mode, 2D, 3D, and Doppler.
• Assist the cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Provide coverage for outpatients and inpatients.

Skills

Knowledge of aseptic technique

Knowledge of EKG rhythms

Ability to use Electronic Medical Records

IV insertion for ultrasound imaging enhancement

Education

Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited echocardiography program

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
