Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Georgia (Kennesaw) seeks an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, including pharmacological stress tests. You will provide preliminary findings, document measurements, and support quality assurance in a team-driven Echo Lab.

Required 3–5 years in stress echoes and 2D/Doppler imaging, with an accredited program and BLS. Onsite schedule follows standard day shift; strong patient communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of experience in performing stress echoes.
• Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of experience performing and interpreting 2D, M-Mode, and Doppler Echocardiograms.
• Completion of an accredited Sonography program in Echocardiography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate OR RDMS OR RDCS certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and transesophageal (TEE) on patients with 2D, M-mode, PW, CW and color Doppler.
• Perform pharmacological stress echocardiograms and obtain high-quality images.
• Provide preliminary findings and complete exam worksheets with measurements and calculations.
• Maintain Echo Lab Manual and Log book; organize reports and media.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff and support department quality assurance.
