Medical City Decatur is seeking an Echo Technician to perform cardiac ultrasound studies such as transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, with supervision as required. The role requires maintaining equipment and following safety policies while delivering high-quality imaging.

Qualifications include Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, a degree or certificate, ARDMS or CCI registration within 6 months, and about one year of echocardiography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate.
• Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire/transfer into position.
• Minimum one-year experience in Echocardiography preferred.
• Tech could assist with stress test in the stress lab.

Responsabilités

• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure instrument safety and maintenance.
• Maintain equipment function and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
