Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform ultrasound imaging of the heart in an outpatient setting. You will create images of cardiac structures and collaborate with cardiologists on interpretations and reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with RDCS/CCI-RCS eligibility or certification, and CPR/BLS certification. Per Diem schedule typical; on-site at Glendale, CA with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required or eligible
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RDCS is required

Responsibilities

• Sets up ultrasound equipment and records cardiac data and measurements.
• Interviews patients and reviews medical records to adapt sonographic techniques.
• Performs echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions.
• Maintains equipment and inventories and stays up to date with professional knowledge.
