Job summary

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule ultrasound exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, caregivers and patients.
• Prepare patients, educate on procedures, and transport to exam area.
• Perform ultrasound exams timely and safely, ensuring comfort.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes; maintain equipment.
