AdventHealth in Deland, FL is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds. You will operate ultrasound systems, document results, and collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree in cardiovascular sonography, RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS certifications, and BLS. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a faith-based hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must perform full range of diagnostic echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound.
• Must operate all ultrasound systems and utilize measurement package.
• Must recognize significant anatomical structures and artifacts.
• Must read/write/speak conversational English.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex imaging studies as described.
• Enter exam data into patient records and communicate abnormal findings to physicians.
• Manage scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, coding, and billing.
• Set up and adjust imaging equipment and transducers.
• Maintain department cleanliness and supply stock.
