Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a part-time echocardiography technician to support the Radiology department in Chicago. You will perform ultrasound imaging of cardiac structures, obtain measurements, and assist physicians with complex procedures.

Join a team in the Cardiopulmonary Department with rotating weekends and day shifts. Requires ARDMS/CCI credential or equivalent, BCLS, and hospital cardiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
• EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
• Registered Echocardiographer preferred.
• ARDMS or CCI credential required
• Able to perform stress testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound to visualize cardiac structures and obtain measurements of valves, ventricle and left atrium.
• Assists physicians with complex echocardiography procedures.
• Supports clerical functions and information flow within the Cardiopulmonary Department.
