Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Recent graduates or new entrants with echocardiography training are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for departmental protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff.
• Prepare patients, educate on procedures, and transport as needed.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and participate in education.
